Anna returned to Kinnevik in 2020 as Chief People and Platform Officer after 10 years as entrepreneur and founder of WES which was acquired by SJR (publ) in 2019. During her years as entrepreneur, she invested in 10 early-stage software, edtech and ecommerce businesses. Anna started her career at Kinnevik as management trainee back in 2003 and spent 8 years leading various businesses within our former portfolio company MTG.
As a former entrepreneur and portfolio company leader, Anna has a good understanding of the operational challenges in rapidly scaling businesses. Therefore, she leads our Platform by leveraging Kinnevik’s operational expertise, resources, and best practices to our investees in a broad range of areas supporting them on their growth journeys and helping them overcome growth challenges.
Anna is also part of our investment committee and leads the Founder and Team due diligence work to evaluate if the companies we are considering investing in have the leadership, teams, and organizational capacity needed to execute on the strategy and realize the vision.
